Brunei's second phase of minimum wage policy covers more industries from April 2025

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Labour Department, under the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC), has announced the implementation of the second phase of Brunei’s minimum wage policy, which will be extended to nine sub-industries across six sectors starting April 1, 2025.

The industries covered under this phase include financial services, healthcare, education, professional and technical services, administrative and support services, as well as accommodation and food services.
