Lone bettor in Philippines bags US$300,000 Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot


MANILA: A lone bettor bagged the P18.4 million (US$300,000) jackpot in the Super Lotto 6/49, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The winning combination, drawn at 9pm on Jan 2, was 19-48-15-11-07-24.

The jackpot prize amounted to P18,445,722, subject to 20 per cent tax.

Two other bettors won P725,387 each for correctly guessing the 6D Lotto winning combination during the same draw.

The 6D Lotto winning combination was 6-2-6-7-6-4.

Meanwhile, no one won the Mega Lotto 6/42, which had a jackpot prize of P5.94 million.

Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law, all Lotto prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to a 20 per cent tax. - Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN
