Vietnam's birth rate hits record low in 2024

HANOI: (Bernama-Xinhua) Vietnam's birth rate reached a record low in 2024, with the total fertility rate falling to 1.91 children per woman.

This marks the third consecutive year below replacement level, according to the Vietnam News Agency, citing the Vietnam Population Authority under the Ministry of Health, as reported by Xinhua.
