Cambodia and Laos to enhance cooperation in technology


PHNOM PENH/VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Laos' Ministry of Technology and Communications and Cambodia's Ministry of Post and Telecommunications discussed plans for cooperation in postal, telecommunications, information and communication technology, and digital government.

A bilateral meeting was held here to discuss the exchange of lessons, information and personnel, technology transfer, and joint training, according to a report issued by the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications on Monday.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance collaboration in these fields, focusing on the development of digital government services, the use of blockchain technology, and a public document authentication system. - Xinhua
