Royal visit marks Brunei-Singapore diplomatic anniversary

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Her Royal Highness Princess Masna, accompanied by Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Abdul Aziz, made an official visit to Singapore from Wednesday (June 26) to Friday (June 28).

The visit was at the invitation of Singapore’s Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Development Sim Ann, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On June 27, Princess Masna and Sim Ann graced a reception to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.

During the reception, Princess Masna and Sim Ann jointly launched the official logo for the 40th Anniversary, designed by Mohammad Yusran Saugi from Brunei.

On the final day of the visit, Her Royal Highness was hosted to lunch by Singapore’s Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean and Singapore’s Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
