Laos launches handicraft branding to empower local producers


VIENTIANE: Laos' Ministry of Industry and Commerce launched the Lao National Handicraft Branding, providing a significant uplift to local artisans and handicraft producers, empowering them to elevate the quality of their products and compete more effectively on the global stage.

The Lao National Handicraft Branding is expected to play a pivotal role in promoting Laos' distinctive cultural heritage, deeply embedded in its handicrafts, Lao News Agency reported on Wednesday (March 20).
