HANOI: HCM City has contributed significantly to the better-than-expected results of Vietnam’s tourism industry last year, solidifying its pivotal role in the recovery and growth of the sector.

The southern economic hub welcomed nearly five million foreign tourists and nearly 35 million domestic tourists, accounting for 40 per cent and 32 per cent of the nation’s respective total numbers. As a result, it raked in over VNĐ160 trillion ($6.6 billion) in tourism revenue.

Uh-oh! Daily quota reached.
