Singapore Airlines expands Philippine reach with new regional partner

HONG KONG (Bloomberg): Singapore Airlines Ltd. has added another regional partner, signing a deal with Philippine Airlines Inc. that will allow it to codeshare on flights to and from Manila and on to 27 destinations in the Philippines.

The agreement, due to start this quarter subject to regulatory approvals, will also enable Philippine Airlines to codeshare on Singapore Airlines flights to the European cities of Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Zurich and Milan, the carriers said in a joint statement Wednesday (Nov 15).
