Floods displace over 27,000 people in Myanmars Bago

YANGON (Xinhua): A total of 27,302 people in Bago of southern Myanmar have been taking shelter in 47 relief camps as of this weekend due to floods triggered by surging river level, the state-run television channel MRTV reported.

According to the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the water level of Bago River in Bago has been above its danger level since Sunday.
