Hong Kong police were on Tuesday investigating an alleged rape of a university student at an orientation camp in the second sex assault case reported at a tertiary institution in days, prompting the city leader to remind varsities of their responsibilities to maintain discipline.
Condemning the alleged cases, Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu said such acts were “intolerable”, pointing out that society had expectations from university students and that they should observe proper conduct.
