Lao PM outlines measures to tackle teacher shortage

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The government is seeking solutions to issues surrounding volunteer teachers and the overall teacher shortage, and will formulate specific policies for teachers in rural areas.

Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone reported on the progress being made in this field and outlined plans to address these issues over the next six months.
