Two arrested as Thai cops foil another shipment of monkeys to Laos

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Two Thai nationals were arrested in Udon Thani’s Nong Han district trying to smuggle 27 long-tailed crab-eating macaques across the border to Laos.

It is believed the monkeys would have ended up in restaurants serving exotic meat.
