China’s Xi announces US$44mil grant to Cambodia in support of its railway dreams

PHNOM PENH, Feb 11 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Chinese President Xi Jinping has announced a 300 million yuan (US$44 million) grant package to support the Kingdom’s railway ambitions, which are expected to improve the livelihoods of many Cambodians, according to National Television of Cambodia (TVK).

This comes during a meeting between Xi and Prime Minister Hun Sen on the second day of his visit to China. The official trip by Hun Sen ends on Saturday (Feb 11).
