Indonesia's Lake Toba to host F1 Powerboat race in February

JAKARTA, Jan 14 (Jakarta Post/ANN): North Sumatra will host a Formula 1 Powerboat race event on Lake Toba from Feb 24 to 26 with 10 teams competing.

Governor Edy Ramayadi expects at least 3,000 foreign visitors to attend the event and hoped that it would boost the province’s tourist industry and economy.
