While the terror threat has been assessed to be “high”, the ability of terrorist groups to operate in Singapore has been limited. - ST

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): The primary terrorist threat to Singapore still comes from self-radicalised individuals, according to a report released by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) on Tuesday (Jan 3).

But the report also noted that the authorities should stay vigilant, as the easing of Covid-19-related movement restrictions could lead to a resurgence of terrorist activity in the region.
