Myanmar govt orders all phone users to register SIM cards by Jan 31 or face stiff action

YANGON, Dec 17 (Eleven Media Group/ANN): Phone operators via a government order have issued notices to register SIM cards by Jan 31 and correct any incorrect information.

The operators have warned users in text messages that by checking and re-registering the SIM cards in use, users will be able to use mobile money services safely, as well as protect themselves from the risk of digital and external frauds,.
