Man injured as bomb explodes at Thakhin Mya Park toilet


YANGON (Eleven Media News/Asia News Network): An explosion occurred at the public toilet in Thakhin Mya Park on Lower Kyinmyindine Street in Ahlon Township, Yangon Region, at about 3pm on Sunday (Nov 20), according to local sources.

The man was wounded after being hit by shrapnel, the sources said.

“The blast occurred at the public toilet of the park. A man was reportedly injured. Another bomb was also discovered at that toilet and it was defused by authorities,” said a nearby resident.
