MANILA (AFP): US Vice President Kamala Harris (pic) will travel next week to a Philippine island near waters claimed by China, an official said Wednesday (Nov 16), in a show of support to the US ally.
Harris will visit the western island province of Palawan on Tuesday as part of a two-nation Asia trip that includes filling in for President Joe Biden at an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Bangkok.
