PHNOM PENH (The Phnom Penh/Asia News Network): The National Committee for Consumer Protection (NCCP) announced that advertisers who had been told to correct fraudulent or misleading adverts now have three days to demonstrate their compliance.
According to an NCCP notice dated Oct 31, the advertisers are required to provide documentation to the Directorate-general of Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression (CCF) to prove that their ads are in line with the laws and would not confuse the public.
