Vietnamese woman wins 'world's toughest' triathlon

HANOI (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): Vu Phuong Thanh (Thanh Vu) has become the first Vietnamese in history to not only complete but also win the Swiss Ultra Deca Continuous Triathlon World Championship, the most severe triathlon competition in the world.

Thanh finished first in the women’s category in the event which ended in Switzerland on Sunday with a time of 328 hours 27 minutes and 55 seconds.
