Suzuki Thilawa auto plant suspends production in Myanmar due to import difficulties


YANGON, July 9 (Xinhua): Suzuki Thilawa Motor factory has suspended its production in Myanmar because of the difficulties in importing auto parts, an executive of the auto plant has announced.

"We are facing severe shortages of materials in the production sector. We won't be able to manufacture anymore without materials," U Myo Min Tun, managing officer from Suzuki Thilawa Motor, said.
