Shrines in Kusu Island blaze built for pious family

A FIRE ravaged a cluster of shrines on top of a hill on Kusu Island.

Aided by a heavy downpour on Sunday night, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) managed to put out the blaze where three Malay shrines, or keramat, are located.
