Thailand lowers GDP target slightly to 3-4%

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Finance Ministry said on Monday (April 18) that it has decided to lower Thailand’s GDP target for 2022 to 3 to 4 per cent from its earlier forecast of 3.5 to 4.5 per cent.

Finance Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith said the target was being reduced because the country’s economy has been hit by several factors. However, he said, the country will still enjoy sustainable economic growth compared to last year.
