Wat Phnom event on the cards for Khmer New Year as Covid-19 cases continue to fall in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, April 2 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The Phnom Penh Municipal Hall has announced that it would organise an event in the Wat Phnom area to celebrate the Khmer New Year from April 14-16, and engage the audience with traditional forms of entertainment.

The event will include traditional and popular games, folk dances and exhibition of old- and new-style paintings, as well as prayers at the Daun Penh statue southwest of the grassy hill and ceremonious sand-hill building, the municipal hall said in a notice.
