MANILA, March 19 (Xinhua): The unemployment rate dipped to 6.4 percent in January in the Philippines with around 2.93 million Filipinos were out of work, according to a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) survey released to the media.
PSA head Dennis Mapa told a virtual press conference that the rate recorded in January is the lowest since April 2020 after the COVID-19 outbreak.
