Laos' Bokeo-Xayaboury river bridge almost 80 per cent complete

The bridge is being built across the Mekong River to link the Bokeo and Xayaboury provinces. - VT

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): A 505-metre bridge spanning the Mekong River between Paktha district in Bokeo province and Khop district in Xayaboury province, which also creates an easier link with Thailand, is now almost 80 per cent complete.

The progress was reported when the Governor of Paktha district, Soulay Duangphakham, and officials carried out an inspection recently.
