Philippines resets vaccination date for children

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): The government postponed the start of the vaccination of children age 5 to 11 scheduled for Friday (Feb 4) to Monday because of a delay in the arrival of the Pfizer Covid-19 shots, the Department of Health (DOH) announced on Thursday.

The announcement was made hours after a mother and a former television journalist petitioned the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to stop the vaccination of children in this age group.
