Australia donates 1,005,580 doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Laos

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Australia has donated 905,580 doses of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine and 100,000 doses of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine.

The vaccines were handed over on Wednesday (Jan 12) to Minister of Health Dr Bounfeng Phoummalaysith by the Australian Deputy Head of Mission, Dan Heldon, and the Unicef Representative a.i. to Laos, Beate Dastel.
