Indonesia reports 454 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Jan 10) and issues emergency authorisation for virus booster shots

JAKARTA, Jan 10 (Xinhua): Indonesia on Monday confirmed 454 new Covid-19 cases, raising the country's tally of infections to 4,266,649, according to the country's health ministry.

The ministry reported that the death toll from Covid-19 in the country rose by seven to 144,136, while 244 more people recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,116,202.
