Cold, cold spell to hit northern Vietnam

HANOI, Nov 29 (Bernama): The northern region of Vietnam is predicted to experience a fresh cold spell from Nov 28 to December 8, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

It is forecast to cause the temperature nationwide to be 0.5 - 1 degrees Celsius lower than the annual average, especially in the northern mountainous region, reported Vietnam News Agency (VNA).
