SAC-M urges international community to provide aid to hungry Myanmarese through NUG

BANGKOK, Nov 27 (Bernama): With the people throughout Myanmar facing hunger, the Special Advisory Council for Myanmar (SAC-M) urged the international community to provide aid to Myanmar by engaging with the country's government in exile, the National Unity Government (NUG).

In a statement, SAC-M said Myanmar has gone unrepresented at international meetings as a result of the international community’s reluctance to formally recognise the NUG as the legitimate government of Myanmar.
