JAKARTA, Nov 21 (Jakarta Post/ANN): President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo (pic) has vowed to defend the country’s nickel ore export ban as the European Union escalates its challenge of the policy at the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Indonesia, formerly the world’s biggest nickel ore exporter, banned shipments of the commodity starting in January 2020 to spur industrialization in the country.
