THE Meteorological Department said the high-pressure system is over the north-east and the South China Sea while the easterly and south-easterly winds prevail across upper Thailand.

Meanwhile, the easterly wind prevails across the Gulf and the south while the low-pressure is over the east of Peninsular Malaysia.
