Laos health authorities concerned with high Covid-19 death rate in October as another 447 new cases reported in country


VIENTIANE, Oct 30 (Vientiane Times/ANN): Laos Health authorities has announced that October has seen the highest number of deaths from Covid-19 at 42, out of a total of 61 deaths reported since May this year.

The government is increasingly concerned about cluster outbreaks of the virus, the rising death toll, and the fact that some people have died even after having had two doses of a Covid vaccine.
