Vietnam's Vinfast eyes expansion into Europe, North America with SUVs

HANOI, Oct 2 (dpa): First Japan, then Korea, now China and soon it will be Vietnam: The range of Asian countries vying to compete with Europe's car manufacturers is still rising, and Vietnam's Vinfast is now getting ready to make inroads in Europe and North America.

From the second quarter of 2022, they want to enter Western markets with - what else? - SUVs.
