BEIJING: Chinese President Xi Jinping has proposed a Global Development Initiative, calling for bolstering confidence and jointly addressing global threats and challenges to build a better world for all.
Xi made the remarks on Tuesday at the general debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly via video, as the world faces the combined impacts of changes unseen in a century and the Covid-19 pandemic.
