Indonesians quite willing to pay extra for 5G: YouGov report


JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): “I cannot wait for high-speed, low-latency connection. As soon as there is an affordable 5G [plan], I am going to switch,” said Jakarta-based fintech employee Dyatmika “Adya” Paramaanindya when asked about his intention to switch from a 4G connection to the newly available 5G network in Indonesia.

The 25-year-old went on to say that he would be willing to pay twice his usual monthly bill for mobile and home internet to have 5G access.
