Indonesia should act as bridge between US, China: Prabowo

JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/ANN): Gerindra Party chairman and DefenCe Minister Prabowo Subianto has said Indonesia should continue to foster good relations with both China and the United States so that it can act as a bridge between the two powers, while expressing his admiration for the former’s rapid development.

Over the past decade, the Indo-Pacific – defined as the region between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, with South-East Asia in its midst – has become a central stage for the US-China rivalry.
