The exports of Thai goods rose 41.6 per cent in May and 43.8 per cent in June, compared to the corresponding periods last year, the commerce minister said.
Thailand's export of automobiles and automotive parts accounted for a 78.5 per cent increase and that of computers and parts accounted for a 21.6 per cent rise in June.
In June, the exports of Thai goods to the European Union rose 47 per cent, those to China rose 42 percent, and those to the United States rose 41 per cent, compared to the same period last year.
Thailand's exports have increased 15.53 percent during the first half of this year, compared to the same period last year while imports have increased 26.15 per cent, resulting in a trade surplus of US$2.44 billion. - Xinhua
