Laos Red Cross calls for more public support


VIENTIANE, July 10 (Vientiane Times/ANN): The Lao Red Cross is calling for greater public contributions to its work, including the provision of emergency relief, blood donation, emergency rescue, basic health support, and funding.

The need for greater support was the topic of discussion on Monday when the President of the Lao Red Cross, Associate Prof. Dr Phouthone Muongpak, met with the Governor of Luang Namtha province, Khamlay Sipaseuth.
