Workplace safety notice issued after two fatalities

THIS year, the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (Shena) received two reports involving deaths related to falls from heights, with lack of adequate supervision and risk management measures identified as some of the contributing factors.

Shena issued a Workplace Safety Notice entitled “Guidance concerning installation of edge protection and perimeter guard-railing at worksites in Brunei Darussalam”.
