Myanmar: Covid-19 cases keep rising as virus death toll rises to 3, 239

YANGON, June 12 (Xinhua): The Covid-19 death toll rose to 3,239 in Myanmar after two new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry on Friday night (June 11).

The release said that 188 new Covid-19 infections were reported after 2, 781 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 145, 064 so far.
