Laos: Education Ministry cancels end-of-year school exams

VIENTIANE, June 4 (Vientiane Times/ANN): Education authorities have cancelled end-of-year exams and instead will allow students who have scored an average of 5 or more in all subjects to automatically progress to a higher grade next school year.

This does not apply to students in Grade 5 of primary school and Grades 4 and 7 of secondary schools who will sit their final year exams as usual.
