Vietnam: On Election Day, govt reports 98 new Covid-19 cases, 5,217 in total

HANOI, May 23 (Xinhua): Over 69 million voters across Vietnam are casting their votes on Sunday to elect deputies to the country's National Assembly (NA) and members of People's Councils at all levels.

Held every five years, the election this year started at 7am local time Sunday at around 80,000 polling stations nationwide, Vietnam News Agency reported.
