Two people were injured in an explosion on Rama IV Road in Bangkok, near Samyan Mitrtown complex, the site of a gathering of pro-democracy protesters.

On Saturday, the protesters started gathering in front of the complex from late afternoon, demanding the release of two protest leaders who had been arrested at Victory Monument in the afternoon.
