Laos records over 6,000 crimes in 2020

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): A total of 6,209 crimes were recorded in Laos in 2020, with drug trafficking being the most frequently occurring crime.

According to local daily Vientiane Times on Friday (Dec 18), a crime report was presented at a meeting in Lao capital Vientiane on Tuesday to summarise security operations in 2020, attended by Lao Minister of Public Security Vilay Lakhamfong and other officials.
