Laos reports a new Covid-19 case after 39 days


VIENTIANE (Xinhua): The Lao Ministry of Health reported one new Covid-19 case on Wednesday (Oct 21) for the first time after 39 days, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 24.

Lao Deputy Minister of Health Phouthone Meaungpak told a press conference in Lao capital Vientiane on Wednesday that the patient is a 23-year-old student who returned from Russia.
