BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Three Democracy Against Dictatorship, or red-shirt, leaders Weng Tojirakarn, Pichet Sukchindathong and Veerakarn Musikapong were released from the Thai Department of Corrections Hospital at 2pm on Tuesday (Sept 15) due to old age and on health grounds.
The three had been charged with gathering in a group of more than 10 people and physical assault resulting in public unrest after they participated in a violent protest outside the home of the late Privy Council president Prem Tinsulanonda in 2007.
