VIENTIANE, Sept 6 (Xinhua): The Laos Ministry of Health on Sunday morning reported 142 new cases of dengue fever, bringing the total number of infections to 5,923, and 11 deaths were recorded.
The highest number of dengue patients were reported in the Laos capital Vientiane with 1,403, while 690 cases were recorded in Bolikhamxay province, and 611 in Vientiane province, Center of Information and Education for health under Laos Ministry of Health said in a statement.
