Vietnam and Laos to further strengthen bilateral ties amid Covid-19 and regional issues

VIENTIANE/HANOI, Aug 17 (The Vientiane Times/ANN): Laos Party Secretary General and President Bounnhang Vorachit and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Phu Trong have agreed to continue protecting and nurturing the great friendly relations, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

Holding phone talks on Aug 13, the leaders highly valued the relations and cooperation between the two Parties and states over the past years that have been enhanced and developed in all fields contributing to maintaining political stability and socio-economic development in each nation, Laos News Agency reported.
